Appointed in 2017, Judge Guerrero has been assigned to the family law calendar in Paso Robles since 2021. Prior to that, he oversaw a criminal trial court for both felonies and misdemeanors. Before being appointed, Judge Guerrero spent 16 years as a contract public defender and 2 years before that in civil litigation. He has presided over 100 criminal trials, including the mentally disordered offenders, and over 75 family law long cause trials.
