Kim Colby Davis, Executive Director of CASA of Santa Barbara County
The Court’s Perspective: Judge Garcia will discuss the the important role CASA’s play in the courtroom. How CASA volunteers have impacted cases, aided in investigations, and help him make tough decisions in cases affecting children.
Ms. Colby Davis, will discuss CASA’s history and mission, along with how CASA came to be and how it has grown. She will touch on CASA’s goals for the fiscal year, challenges they face working with foster youth in our community, and the most recent statistics. Ms. Colby Davis will also discuss the many ways to get involved and support CASA’s mission, and the role of becoming an advocate, and or sponsoring a child.
Come to our meeting and learn how to address these emerging issues in your practice and earn 1.0 hours of MCLE legal credit.
